Together, everyone at Pantheon Guitars is working to be the best "small shop" acoustic guitar builder in the world. Dana, now, has the opportunity to focus on designing and building instruments of the highest quality and making Bourgeois guitars the best they can be. This focus has brought Pantheon Guitars the prestigious 2008 Gold Medal Award from Acoustic Guitar Magazine for the Best Small Shop Builder. Martin has developed guitars in conjunction with many stars such as Eric Clapton, Stephen Stills, Roger McGuinn, Tim O’Brien and countless others. Bob Taylor, Kurt Listug and Steve Shemmel opened up shop in 1974. Taylor and Listug have made musical-instrument history by becoming the first American luthiers in this century to take an acoustic guitar company from one-off shop to production-level manufacturer without relinquishing ownership or creative control. Taylor has introduced innovations in production techniques without compromising quality and consistency in sound that have had a significant impact on the entire industry. Leo Kottke, Dan Crary and Doyle Dykes have all worked with Taylor to create successful signature models, while a myriad of other artists are using Taylor guitars both on the road and in the studio.
