Pete is fluent in a variety of musical styles including Rock, Blues, Metal, Jazz, Folk, Classical, Country, and Bluegrass. Students of all ages are welcome.

  • Emily Wilson:  mandolin, violin, fiddle

  • Dan Peha:  banjo (bluegrass style)

  • Sue Coulter:  guitar, mandolin, banjo (claw hammer style):
Sue started playing guitar during the "folk scare" of the 60's.  In the 70's She heard Earl Scruggs, bought a banjo, and was hopelessly addicted to bluegrass.  She started playing mandolin and bass in the early 80's.  Her biggest goal in teaching is to train people to gain skills so they can have fun.  Theory is taught when it will help someone understand the concepts of transposition, chord formation, chord progressions, etc. Playing with others is highly encouraged. She has played with various bands over the years including Traditional Square and Contra Dance, Celtic, Old-Time, and Bluegrass. She has also taught jamming skills at Black Rose Acoustic Society and various festivals.
